Three Research Interns
The Society of Automotive Engineers, Australasia will commence the roll-out of our re-set strategy in 2026, and we are very keen to engage three interns to work closely with the General Manager to undertake the following specific tasks.
- Study of companies within Australia and New Zealand that specialise in drone technologies or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for both the defence and commercial sectors (including advancements in technologies and AI);
- Study of companies within Australia and New Zealand that specialise in assistive and micro-mobility (e-bikes, scooters, disability aids, adaptions and small-form mobility solutions, these are critical to accessibility and inclusion and draw on safety and systems engineering disciplines); and
- Prepare communications and content preparation for SAE-A’s reset strategy and communications roll-out.
Requirements:
- 3-6 months volunteer role (unpaid)
- Availability is flexible (1-2 days per week)
- Work with a small team in an excellent office environment (if possible)
- Attendance at regular intern meetings
- Reports to General Manager and other staff members as required.
