The Changing Role of Vehicles in the "Safe System Approach'' to Road Safety
SAE-A is pleased to introduce Traffic Vehicles and Logistics Pty Ltd (TVL), presenting on the topic of road safety and the integration of technological change.
The session will explore how the rapid growth in mass market adoption of in-vehicle driver assistance technologies, known as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), these are stepping stone technologies towards fully automated vehicles (such as self-driving cars, autonomous vehicles and robotaxis).
Together with Datum Road Safety based in Sydney, this webinar will help members gain a better understanding of on-road dynamics and tactics of driver behaviour and controlling increasingly complex vehicles on growing road networks and infrastructure with constant changes in design rules.
Due to TVL’s nature of work, the company is also instrumental in developing and influencing future government policy and regularly advise fleet operators around OH&S obligations and compliance.
Presented by Johann Tay, Director of Traffic Vehicles and Logistics Pty Ltd and David Beck, Director of Datum Road Safety, both will share their global knowledge with the aim of enhancing safety for everyone working in the road transport technologies space.
