SAE-A marks 25-year milestone

Society of Automotive Engineers – Australia (SAE-A) has been recognised by Motorsport Australia for reaching 25 years as an affiliated car club, receiving a Club Milestone Award at the 2025 Motorsport Australia Victoria Awards.
A certificate recently presented to the SAE-A acknowledges its long-standing contribution to motorsport and its role in supporting members, volunteers and the broader motorsport community over the past quarter-century.
Motorsport Australia said the milestone reflected the club’s dedication, passion and ongoing commitment to creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for competitors, officials and enthusiasts alike.
The award also recognised the contribution of SAE-A’s supporters in helping shape and grow the club across its 25-year history.
“In recognition of 25 years established as a club, Motorsport Australia acknowledges and congratulates this achievement,” the certificate states.
An accompanying letter described the milestone as an outstanding accomplishment and said the certificate was presented as a token of appreciation and recognition for the SAE-A’s contribution to the motorsport community.
SAE-A has contributed much to the Australian motorsport scene, particularly through its internationally recognised educational program Formula SAE-A.
