Applications now open for SAE-A Awards

Society of Automotive Engineers – Australasia (SAE-A) applications for the 2026 Mobility Technology Excellence Awards, celebrating innovation and achievement across the mobility engineering sector, are still open.
Proudly sponsored by iMotiv, Bremar and Ferncroft Consulting, the awards recognise outstanding individuals, teams and businesses driving innovation across land, sea and air.
Award categories include corporate honours for innovation excellence across large, medium and small companies, student awards for undergraduate and postgraduate achievement, and professional recognition including Young Mobility Engineer of the Year, Woman Mobility Engineer of the Year, and Significant Services to the Mobility Engineering Sector.
Applications close on May 29, 2026, with winners to be announced at the awards presentation on September 10 at Leonda by the Yarra in Hawthorn.
The awards provide an important opportunity to recognise the people and organisations shaping the future of mobility engineering and contributing to industry and the wider community.
