The Australian Trucking Association and PACCAR and its dealer network have collaborated for more than 20 years to present the annual Technology & Maintenance Conference – one of Australia’s longest running technical conferences.

The conference will include a series of seminars designed for engineers, and transport operators.

Join the team from Mitsubishi Electric for a workshop discussion and practical demonstration of alternator and starter motor testing and diagnosis. This session is designed for technicians, apprentices and anyone involved in vehicle servicing and repair.

In the session, you’ll work through Mitsubishi Electric’s five-step starting and charging system check, from checking the batteries through to testing the alternator.

You’ll find out how all the parts of the system need to be working properly and together, because that’s the way to deliver reliable operation.

In another informative seminar, Shane Pendergast, will share his insights on brake systems.

Pendergast’s relentless focus on safety, reliability and the dos and don'ts around brakes has made him a legend. See him and find out why.

Brake systems require proper design, testing, installation and maintenance to ensure they work properly. This session will review brake system issues observed on the road by Shane, with topics including:

* brake timing testing and the difference in compliance

* ECU settings and how they need to change as trailer types change

* VSB6 EBS modification sign off and engineering assessments

* converter dollies with TEBS, CAN routers or junction boxes.

Digital tools are reinventing truck maintenance and compliance.

They have the potential to take your business from manual processes, reactive repairs and nagging uncertainty to a future where preventative maintenance saves you time and money – and you can sleep at night because you know you have met your compliance obligations.

Join Geotab for a session where you’ll explore practical applications and the benefits of digital tools for trucking businesses and workshops.

These are just a sample of the many insightful seminars on the schedule at the conference. For a full schedule, more information and to book tickets, visit https://ataevents.eventsair.com/tmc25/
