The Society of Automotive Engineers – Australasia (SAE-A) is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to lend their support during the 2025 Formula SAE-A event.

If you have been a volunteer in previous years, thank you for your support and I hope you will continue your involvement. If this year is your first event, please be assured your support will be greatly appreciated.

This year the event will run from December 11-14, 2025 at Calder Park Raceway just 30 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD.

SAE-A will be seeking volunteers for the various elements of the competition, specifically for the Static and Dynamic Events, each with its own level of technical or business expertise, nevertheless the Society has a job for everyone.

Generally, Formula SAE-A volunteers attract a variety of people from all types of professions such as industry, government and business and, of course, motorsport enthusiasts.

Being a volunteer is rewarding and offers you an excellent opportunity to witness over 800 students at their best. The students value feedback and really appreciate the encouragement and teachings volunteers can provide.

Please consider offering your time to the event and feel free to discuss this opportunity with work colleagues, family or friends who may also have an interest in this exciting competition for university students.
