Join or Renew Your Membership

Log in to your membership portal to renew your membership.

New applicants can join by selecting a membership grade from the menu below and completing the relevant application form.

Applicants for Member grade are required to upload a copy of their degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification.

Applications for Fellow grade will be assessed by the SAE-A Qualifications and Grading Committee.

Members who have retired from full-time employment must provide proof of age or a valid concession card.

Current members wishing to upgrade to a higher membership grade should contact the SAE-A office on 0403 267 166 or email the membership team at info@sae-a.com.au.

Fellow
A Fellow member will have expert experience in leading major engineering developments or activities, or have had an extensive career in positions of responsibility in engineering. Application will be reviewed by the SAE-A Grading & Qualification Committee.

For engineers in the industry, who have a minimum of 5 years or hold an engineering, science or technology degree, advanced diploma or have an interest in the mobility engineering sector.
