Join us online for an exclusive webinar on Vehicle Dynamics

Join Moderator Sam Lagozzino for an insight into how different Automotive sectors within Australia assess a vehicles' dynamic performance. We have presenters from motorsport (Repco Supercars), passenger cars and military. The presenters will provide an analysis of how each industry handles vehicle dynamics and the tools and principles they use to optimise a vehicle's handling performance.

Ticket prices

Members: $50

Non-Members: $70

Students: $30

Click the 'PURCHASE TICKETS' button to the right of your screen to register for this event.

The presenters will give an insight into the following topics:

  • Suspension types: Suspension types primarily used in motorsport, passenger cars and military vehicles
  • Constraints: Rules and regulations, noise, vibration and harshness and financial constraints
  • Handling: What metrics and parameters to look at to optimise a vehicles handling
  • Tuning: How to tune a vehicle to optimise its handling characteristics
  • Compromise: The compromise between handling, cost and other constraint

Who should attend

  • Engineers working in the automotive industry
  • Automotive technicians who want to understand the engineering behind vehicle dynamics
  • Students preparing an FSAE car who would like to understand racecar suspension design and set up
  • Anyone who would like to understand how a military vehicle is assessed for fitness for purpose
  • Anyone with an interest in how a racecar, passenger car and military vehicle's suspension and handling characteristics work and are tuned for their intended purpose
  • Students studying engineering who want to know how a vehicle suspension and handling works and is tuned
