This includes advocating for a safer, more sustainable mobility sector by providing the technical foundation for practical reforms.
- For example, SME-A’s deep technical credibility can help to establish the engineering standards required to accelerate the adoption of zero-emission and autonomous technologies.
- SME-A is also equipped to help Australia’s mobility sector address issues like the need to harmonise inconsistent state-by-state manufacturing requirements to help companies scale faster.
We also recognise the critical importance of demonstrating the sector's significant economic contribution.
