The technologies powering the global mobility sector are evolving rapidly, yet many organisations in Australia’s ecosystem are still trying to solve technical challenges in siloes.
SME-A is uniting leaders across industry, academia and government to break down these siloes, reduce conflict and find efficiencies in bringing new technologies to market.
We do this by creating forums to explore precompetitive solutions to shared technical challenges and enable the partnerships required to bring those solutions to life.
That might include addressing critical sector issues like the electrification transition, advocating for key policy changes, or working together on technical standards before they reach the commercial "deal-making" stage.
Addressing shared challenges together enables our sector to continue evolving from our past focus on automotive technologies to building Australia’s sovereign capability across a spectrum of mobility solutions.
