SAE-A is an industry recognised association that represents its members as a professional community
From sharing technical knowledge, networking, rewarding and encouraging innovation in both the private and public sector, SAE-A seeks to involve our members in all aspects of the mobility engineering sector.
Our individual, company, and academic members include degree-qualified engineers, technical specialists, academics, students, industry and government.
Members come from a range of industry sectors including electric, autonomous and combustion engine technology, aerospace and defence, heavy commercial vehicles (on-and-off road), rail and rolling stock, micromobility, and specialty vehicles.

Fellow
(F SAE-A)
For experienced individuals who have led significant engineering developments, held positions of responsibility, and established extensive careers in engineering. Applications will be reviewed by the SAE-A Qualifications and Grading Committee.

For engineers in the industry, who have a minimum of 5 years and holds an engineering, science or technology degree or advanced diploma.
