GoProto Manufacturing Facility Tour

Thursday 28 March 2019

SAE-A invites you to join us for an exclusive tour of the GoProto manufacturing facility in Mount Waverley, Victoria.

GoProto provides rapid prototyping and contract manufacturing services. Utilising

Hewlett Packard Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) 3D printing technology, GoProto (ANZ) is

Australia's first contract manufacturing facility offering on-demand production

without the need for tooling.

Based in Mount Waverley, GoProto has commissioned its first two HP Jet Fusion

4210 printers, which are up to 10-times faster than existing rapid prototyping and

3D printers.

GoProto’s ambition is to reinvent the way the world designs and manufactures,

enabling companies to shorten and localise the design and manufacturing cycle.

Traditional 3D printing technologies lack the combined precision, speed and

functionality that’s demanded by mainstream manufacturing. HP’s MJF technology

changes this dynamic by printing high-end, functional prototypes and production

General Manager, Leon Gairns, runs GoProto’s extensive portfolio of prototyping

and manufacturing services. For more information visit

Tour attendees will benefit from the following:

  • Learn how HP’s Multi-Jet technology works
  • Find out how HP’s additive manufacturing process is an economical low volume
  • alternative
  • Find out how automotive/transport companies have applied the technology
  • Touch and feel MJF 3D printed samples
  • See the machines in operation
